Adopted Local Plan & Guidance

Local Plan Part 1 was adopted in December 2014. It sets out strategic and local planning policies for Mendip District to 2029.

Policies in the plan are used to make decisions on planning applications together with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), local guidance and 'made' Neighbourhood Plans.
