Dad's day out in market town!
Looking to keep your dad happy this father's day? The team behind the monthly Sunday market think they have the answer.
This Sunday, Sunday June 16, sees the return of the popular Shepton Mallet Sunday Market and the team are gearing up to celebrate Father's day in style.
With a host of vintage cars, motorbikes and scooters lining the High Street, mixed with the usual array of stalls in the Market Place, selling everything from children's clothes, gifts for the home, crafts, local Somerset produce and so much more.
The popular local cider stall from Stones Cider will return along with the Hillside Cheese and their famous marmite bread and large selection of cheese. A range of homemade cakes will be available from Truly Brownie.
Volunteers from the town who support the organisation of the market have organised, along with the vintage vehicle rally, a schedule of entertainment with music from Dr Love, plus Vinyl Revival Show.
Cllr Nick Cottle, Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhood Service, said; "The market is a popular event in Shepton and will be a perfect place to be this Sunday for Father's Day, so don't forget to bring dad along and enjoy what the monthly market has to offer!"
