Mendip District Council Offices
The main Mendip District Council offices are located in Shepton Mallet.
You can visit us:
By train - Castle Cary train station is 7 miles from Shepton. Taxis are available at Castle Cary train station.
By Bus - For bus times visit First Bus route 174 Wells-Bath via Shepton Mallet
By Car - Should you wish to visit the council offices in Shepton Mallet, please note there are 17 spaces for visitors to park for up to one hour. If parking is required for more than one hour, vehicles should be parked off-site in either the Commercial Road or Great Ostry car park. Both are located within a five minute walk from the Mendip District Council site.

They are located in Mendip's five main towns; Shepton Mallet, Frome, Glastonbury, Street and Wells. Opening times can be found below, but please note that on the first Thursday of every month they will open later in the morning.

Mendip District Council is a Breastfeeding friendly organisation who welcomes all mothers to breastfeed in our Council Access Points. If they wish for more privacy, we can accommodate by providing a room (subject to availability) for mothers on request.
