This meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, Mendip District Council, Shepton Mallet at 6.30 pm. Please note that due to COVID restrictions attendance will be limited.
Due to Covid safe measures the numbers of attendees who can be accommodated at meetings remains restricted. If you do wish to physically attend a meeting as a member of the public you must contact Democratic Services at DemocraticServices@mendip.gov.uk to register your attendance. This is so that the available capacity can be monitored and access carefully controlled. If you do not register your intention to attend in this way, you may not be able to physically access the meeting. - Fire: There is no fire alarm test planned so if the alarm sounds we will evacuate the building: Please leave the building by the emergency exits, use the stairs not the lift, and make your way quickly but safely across the car park to the assembly point which is in Collett Park.

6 QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS
Questions need to have been submitted to the Chief Executive 10 working days in advance of the Cabinet meeting to which they are to be submitted. All questions must relate to the terms of reference of Cabinet and actions taken by individual Portfolio Holders, in accordance with the provisions of the Council's constitution.
7 SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT, LOCAL PLAN POLICY DP7, DESIGN AND AMENITY
This report recommends adoption of Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) providing guidance on the interpretation of Local Plan Policy DP7; Design and Amenity of New development, incorporating guidance on energy efficiency, sustainable construction and renewable energy.
8 LOCAL PLAN POLICY DP24: SPD AND GUIDANCE ON SELF AND CUSTOM BUILD SINGLE-PLOT EXCEPTION SITES
Following the adoption of local Plan Part II, this report seeks to confirm the guidance with revisions as a Supplementary Planning Document.
9 AFFORDABLE AND SOCIAL HOUSING DELIVERY PROGRAMME
On 6 September 2021, Cabinet approved the principle of social housing development on land at West Shepton, Shepton Mallet. This report provides more information on the proposed development
10 2021-22 QUARTER 3 BUDGET MONITORING REPORT
The report summarises the forecast outturn position against the agreed Council budget for 2021-22 based on Quarter 3 projections.
11 DISCRETIONARY BUSINESS RATE RELIEF POLICY 2022-23
Mendip District Council has a long-standing Discretionary Business Rate Relief Policy providing financial support by way of reductions in business rate bills in line with Rating Law and corporate priorities.
This report provides a summary of the high-level priorities that support the delivery of the Corporate Delivery Plan.
13 ENHANCING AIR QUALITY IN MENDIP (UPDATE REPORT)
Air quality remains good within Mendip, nevertheless air pollution is associated with several adverse health impacts and as such air quality is recognised as a key public health consideration.
