In light of the Government's most up to date guidance and rising Covid numbers, the Chair of the Scrutiny Board has agreed that this meeting should not meet physically, but be replaced by an informal meeting of the Scrutiny Board. The informal meeting of the Scrutiny Board will be held completely virtually.
Virtual meetings cannot make formal decisions. Instead, the informal meeting will act as a consultative meeting, making recommendations on each of the items put before them.
This arrangement is in accordance with the Council's Constitution.
Members of the public will be able to watch the informal meeting at the link given below.
Please note, the film of the meeting will only be available for 150 days after the date of the meeting.

5 6.45pm MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the meetings held on 14 October 2021 and 16 November 2021 will be considered.
6 7.00pm SOMERSET WASTE PARTNERSHIP DRAFT BUSINESS PLAN 2022 - 2027
The Somerset Waste Board is required to annually approve a rolling five-year business plan which took place on 10th December 2021 and now sees Scrutiny consulted for the forthcoming actions and deliverables.
7 7.30pm MEDIUM TERM FINANCIAL STRATEGY
The purpose of this report is to set out the Medium-Term Financial Plan for 2022-23 to 2024-25 and to make recommendations on the level of the Council's Revenue Budgets, the Band D Council Tax and Special Expenses Rate for 2022-23.
8 8.00pm CAPITAL STRATEGY
The purpose of this report is to introduce the new Capital Strategy and make recommendations on the level of the Council's Capital Budgets and the associated funding requirements spanning 2022-23 to 2025-26.
9 8.30pm TREASURY MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
Feedback is sought from Scrutiny Board on the Treasury Management and Annual Investment Strategy for the forthcoming financial year 2022/23.
