6 SAFER WASTE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (SWIMS)
The Safer Waste Integrated Management Strategy (SWIMS) encompasses the approach we wish to take to encourage the responsible treatment and disposal of waste by residents, businesses, and others within the district.
7 ENHANCING AIR QUALITY IN MENDIP (UPDATE REPORT)
Air quality remains good within Mendip, nevertheless air pollution is associated with a number of adverse health impacts and as such air quality is recognised as a key public health consideration. This report provides an update on progress of the air quality work programme since the last report (Cabinet September 2020) to meet the corporate priority commitment (priority Action CC6).
8 STREET TRADING POLICY 2021-2026
Mendip District Council adopted a Street Trading Policy in 2016 with a proviso that it will be consulted on every 5 years. This report presents the Street Trading Policy proposed for the next 5 years, following consultation.
9 CORPORATE DELIVERY PLAN
This report presents the proposed Delivery Plan priorities for the Council over the next year following the Government's decision to move to a single unitary authority for Somerset.
10 AFFORDABLE AND SOCIAL HOUSING DELIVERY PROGRAMME
This report follows the statement of intent, approved by Cabinet on 6 July 2020, to initiate a programme to deliver the Council's corporate objective to provide more affordable and social housing in the district.
11 CHANGING PLACES - NEXT STEPS
The Council's Corporate Plan includes extending the roll-out of Changing Places Toilets (CPTs) across the district, building on the ambition for one facility in each town.
12 QUARTER 1 BUDGET MONITORING REPORT
The report summarises the forecast outturn position against the agreed Council budget for 2021-22 based on Quarter 1 projections.
This report provides a summary of the high-level actions and projects that support the delivery of the Corporate Plan 2020/23.
