8          CONSTITUTIONAL UPDATES

The Monitoring Officer will inform the Committee of any minor changes made to the Constitution since the last meeting

9         LGA CONSULTATION ON THEIR REVISED MODEL MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT

The Monitoring Officer will give a verbal update on the above Consultation exercise

10       VIRTUAL MEETING REVIEW

The Monitoring Officer will give a verbal update on the Council's approach to virtual meetings since April 2020 following the publication of the Coronavirus Act 2020

11       REVIEW OF THE PROTOCOL FOR MEMBER/OFFICER RELATIONS

The Monitoring Officer requests that the Standards Board establishes a small working group to undertake a review of Appendix F of the Constitution

12        EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

The Standards Committee is asked to consider whether a resolution should be passed to exclude the press and public from the meeting during item 13 on the grounds that exempt information (as defined in Schedule 12A Local Government Act 1972) of the following description is likely to be disclosed:

Category 1

information relating to any individual

Category 2

information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual

13        REGISTER OF COMPLAINTS RECEIVED

A register of complaints received by the Monitoring Officer since the last meeting.

CIRCULATION OF PAPERS

In accordance with Section 100B(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, reports and documents relating to item 13 disclosing exempt or confidential information have been distributed only to Members of the Standards Committee, elected Members and officers of the Council.
