6 PROJECT TO REDUCE THE VOLUME OF COMMUTER RELATED CAR JOURNEYS IN MENDIP
In February 2019 this Council declared a "Climate Emergency" and committed to make the best endeavours to enable Mendip to be carbon neutral by 2030. This report is a proposal to adopt a project that delivers on these priorities by reducing the volume of commuter related vehicles on our roads.
7 ENHANCING AIR QUALITY IN MENDIP
This report identifies the existing air quality tasks undertaken and identifies a further work programme for the current business year and also for the remainder of the current Corporate Plan term.
8 EQUALITY OBJECTIVE UPDATE 2020
This report outlines the achievements of the Member Equality Steering Group over the past year. It also identifies the focus for the next year. Lastly it identifies additional considerations connected to COVID-19.
9 REPORT OF THE SCRUTINY DEPRIVATION WORKING GROUP
The Scrutiny Deprivation Working Group investigates the causes of deprivation, hearing from those agencies who work with the most deprived sections of our community. The Group's recommendations have been discussed by the main Scrutiny Board and supported. This report seeks Cabinet's approval of those recommendations.
