To nominate and elect a Chair of the Somerset Building Control Partnership Joint Committee.

3b ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR OF THE SOMERSET BUILDING CONTROL PARTNERSHIP JOINT COMMITTEE

To nominate and elect a Vice Chair of the Somerset Building Control Partnership Joint Committee.

To receive apologies from Members who are unable to attend the meeting.

10 URGENT BUSINESS

It is expected that there will be a verbal update from the Partnership Manager about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the work of the Somerset Building Control Partnership.

12 EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

The Somerset Building Control Partnership is asked to consider whether a resolution should be passed to exclude the press and public from the meeting during item 13 on the grounds that exempt information (as defined in Schedule 12A Local Government Act 1972) of the following description is likely to be disclosed:

Category 3 Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including those of the Council).

CIRCULATION OF PAPERS In accordance with Section 100B (2) of the Local Government Act 1972, reports and documents relating to item 13 disclosing exempt or confidential information have been distributed only to elected members and officers of the Council.

13 SOMERSET BUILDING CONTROL PARTNERSHIP FINANCIAL REPORT FOR 2019-20

Now the partnership has been operating for just over four years and the draft financial outturn for 2019/20 is presented alongside the original budget for the current year.
