Climate Targets

Our Climate Ecological and Emergency Group have identified a series of actions that they would like to take forward in response to declaring a Climate Emergency in Mendip.

Establishing a baseline emissions inventory is the first step in determining how to deliver on the Councils Carbon Emissions Pathway to enable the district to be Net-Zero by 2030. Our targets for each sector are summarised below along with how you can play your part.
