Prior Notification for Telecommunications Application Checklist
NOTE: Prior notifications are not planning applications but are confirmation of the intent to take up 'permitted development' rights.
The most effective way of submitting an application is to apply online using the Planning Portal. This will save you the cost of printing and postage.
In order for your application to be accepted as valid you need to comply with the National Requirements set out here:
A completed form or written description of the proposed development.
The appropriate fee
A statement detailing the compulsory pre-application community consultation with any applications for 2 turbines or if the hub height of any turbine exceeds 15 metres. The statement must set out how the consultation requirements have been met, any responses to the consultation that were received by the applicant and the account taken of those responses by the applicant in accordance with the planning regulations.
Where the proposed development consists of the installation of a mast within three kilometres of the perimeter of an aerodrome evidence is also required to show that the developer has notified the Civil Aviation Authority, the Secretary of State for Defence or the Aerodrome operator in accordance with the planning regulations.
