- Mobile phones should be switched to silent.
- An induction loop is fitted in the Council Chamber. Anyone who is a hearing aid user should switch their hearing aid to position 'T'.

6 GLASTONBURY: TOWN DEAL OPPORTUNITY
Glastonbury has the opportunity to bid for funding of up to £25 million as part of the government's £3.6 billion Towns Fund. Lead Councils, including Mendip District Council (MDC) will need to establish Town Deal Boards by the end of January and develop Town Investment Plans by summer 2020.
7 CORPORATE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT REPORT QUARTER 2 2019/2020
This report provides a summary of the high level actions and projects that support the delivery of the 2017-2020 Corporate Strategy, Shape the District, as at Q2 2019/20. Additionally, the report provides performance information in relation to Q2 2019/20:
8 BUDGET MONITORING REPORT QUARTER 2 2019/2020
The report summarises the forecast outturn position of the Council's Medium Term Resource Strategy for the 2019/20 financial year, based on Quarter 2 projections.
9 NEW CORPORATE AIM AND PRIORITIES
The lifespan of the Council's current Corporate Strategy comes to an end in 2020. Work has been underway to develop a new Corporate Aim and Priorities, which now come to Cabinet in draft form for consideration.
10 REVIEW OF LOCAL PLAN PART 1
A review of the policies within Local Plan Part I is legally required five years post adoption. This date is 15th December 2019. An assessment has been carried out to ascertain which policy areas are now out of date and need reviewing.
11 MENDIP MARKETS STRATEGY 2020-2025
This report seeks the endorsement of Cabinet to the Mendip Markets Strategy.
12 EVENT & FILMING STRATEGY 2020-2025.
This report is to instigate the adoption of the Event & Filming Strategy 2020-2025.
13 DISCRETIONARY BUSINESS RATE RELIEF 2020/21
Mendip has a long standing Policy and budget for providing discretionary relief, as well as maximising the use of mandatory reliefs, to local businesses and organisations in line with Rating Law and corporate priorities.
14 COUNCIL TAX SUPPORT - 2020/21 AND BEYOND
Mendip has had a local discretionary Council Tax Support Policy in place since April 2013 which is designed to provide financial relief to those least able to afford to pay their council tax.
