Reporting health and safety concerns in the workplace
On 23 March the government stepped up measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and save lives.
Whether you are planning a street party, a village fate or music festival for thousands of visitors, if you are the organiser you must plan for and manage safety at your event and that includes being Covid-secure at the present time.

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 places responsibilities on employers, employees, and the self-employed to have regard for their own health and safety and that of others working for them, and for people visiting their premises. Enforcement of the law is shared between the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Mendip District Council.
Certain types of incident including accidents must be reported if they occur in the workplace.
