We pride ourselves on being a forward thinking Council, providing services of the highest quality, in line with our customer needs. By telling us how we are doing, you can help shape the future of our services.

However, we appreciate that no matter how hard we try there are bound to be occasions when you are not happy with the service you have received so if we get it wrong please read about our complaints procedure to find out how to complain.

The council offices are open for personal visits from 8:30 am till 5 pm.

The council also has 5 Council Information Points which offer advice and information on any matter concerning Mendip District Council, Somerset County Council or Town/Parish services.

Getting to the Council Offices

Parking for visitors is limited and is restricted to 'short stay' only. If you are attending a meeting or training session please park in the Commercial Road Car Park which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Council Offices and is marked on our Mendip District Council location map. There are 3 disabled parking spaces adjacent to the main council offices. There is a reception area and play area in the main council offices.
