Building Control

Even if you already have planning consent for your building project, you will almost certainly need Building Regulation consent before you can start work. The Building Regulations include guidelines about the construction of buildings, and complex laws relating to buildings and fire safety.

Building Control can help you with:

  • Advice and information about the Building Regulations
  • Applying for Building Regulations approval
  • Building Inspections

Some buildings are exempt from Building Regulations approval but if you are not sure, it is best to ask for advice.
