Voluntary Sector Funding

Mendip District Council offers financial support to Voluntary Sector Organisations who provide services that assist the authority in delivering its Corporate Plan priorities.

Funding may be awarded for a period of up to three years and is subject to a Service Level Agreement.

Mendip District Council is a member of the Somerset Compact.

The current allocations were made in 2009 and will run until 2012, and include

• Age Concern
• RELATE
• Citizens Advice Bureau
• Victim Support
• Somerset Youth Volunteering Network
• Somerset Community Council
• GEMS Scrapstore
• Avalon Fair Shares
• Positive Action on Cancer
• St John Ambulance
