Local Newspapers

The Mid-Somerset Series is based at Wells and publishes the Wells Journal, Central Somerset Gazette and Shepton Mallet Journal. The Somerset Standard is part of the same publishing group and is the local weekly paid-for newspaper for the Frome area. These newspapers contain large weekly property sections for those people looking to move to Mendip.

There is also a weekly free magazine called The Fosseway Magazine and in Frome, The Frome Times.

The Western Daily Press is the morning daily covering much of the West Country with a Mendip edition.
